Client Expectations
I ask that all clients coordinate with me to complete your blog/design in a timely manner. I will expect that emails will replied to within 48 hours (except weekends).
Communication
My design hours are Monday through Friday. I will most likely be unavailable to work and answer emails during the weekend. Please understand that I am a home based business and my main form of communication is via email.
Scheduling + Waitlist
For all blog design and web design services, I work on a scheduling basis. You can contact me directly for turnaround times and open slots.
Payments + Balances
You must put down a 50% deposit to secure your design slot if there is a current waiting list. Your balance must be received before any design work can begin. Please note that all deposits and down payments are non-refundable. If you need payment arrangements, please contact me.
Excessive Revisions
Revisions are included in the cost of your design. This does not include excessive revisions that drag on for months. If a design element revision becomes excessive or if a layout revision needs changed after approval, extra fees may incur. I will inform if I believe this is an issue.
Holds
Projects are not to be put on a hold unless due to uncontrollable circumstances. Please understand that I do not hold orders once a project starts in respect to my other clients and my scheduling requirements. Please use open and frequent communication so we can have a good flow to complete your design.
Permissions
It is the responsibility of the client to retain permission for all photos, imagery, and logos that are used in your website or blog. Pretty Lovely Design will be in no way responsible for obtaining these for you.
Confidentiality
All forms of communication, including email and phone conversations must be kept confidential. Under no circumstances should you forward/share our conversations with others.
Revisions
Revisions are included in the cost of your design. This does not include excessive revisions. If a design element revision becomes excessive or if a layout revision needs changed after approval, extra fees may incur. I will inform if I believe this is an issue.
Blog Maintenance and Updates
I have affordable maintenance and update costs that I can do for you on a on case basis or monthly basis. Revisions are not free after your design is completed and you approve the layout.
Refunds
Sorry I do not offer refunds on any web/blog/graphic design services due to the type of work. If you choose to cancel your order for any reason, you will lose your deposit and/or payment.
Copyrights + Design Credits
Pretty Lovely Design retains all intellectual copyrights to all design work unless otherwise stated. If you are purchasing a custom logo design, the copyright will be transferred to you. A small credit link will be placed at the bottom of all blog and websites. This credit link is required to stay on the page as long as you are using the design. If you begin to modify the layout of your page, you must remove the credit link as it no longer represents my design work.
Design Refusal
At this time I am not accepting orders for political and religious organizations. I am a small boutique business and I prefer to work with small businesses, bloggers, and artists. Please be aware that I will also exercise the right to refuse any design projects that are inappropriate, obscene, or sites that are ethically and morally questionable. Please contact me in advance if your design project is in question.

How long does your blog/web/graphic design services take?
Turn around time varies between services but the average time for blog design takes about 2 weeks and web design is an on case basis. All other services take approximately 1-2 weeks. Please take into consideration that these times are estimates due to turn around time, revisions, communication and approvals.
I don't know how to use my blog. Now what?
Don't worry, I have lots of resources for you! In addition to the tips & tutorials on my blog, I have a list of resources to help you. If you would like to purchase one-on-one phone training, please contact me.
Do I own my designs?
Pretty Lovely retains all the intellectual copyrights to all design work except for logo design. If you are purchasing a blog or web design, a small credit link to Pretty Lovely Design will be placed a the bottom of your page.
Where do you get your graphics?
The majority of my designs contain my art/graphics. On occasion, I will utilize stock imagery sources such as istock and shutterstock for my designs. If you have imagery would would like to use from these sources, you will need to purchase them for your design.
Am I involved in the design process?
Absolutely! Once you hire Pretty Lovely Design, we become close business friends!

Do I need to purchase hosting?
Not necessarily. There are alternative options to purchasing a hosting account such as free hosting sites. A website design will require you purchasing a domain & hosting. I can assist you with this if needed.
Do you use scrapbook layouts?
No. All custom and template designs make by Pretty Lovely Design are made by me and not licensed layouts.
